What we keep: your email address; your plan and payment status; your agreement to the Terms (version, time, IP address, device or app); an activity log of sign-ins and lookups (time, the tool used and its lookup details such as a ticker, IP address and app); and daily question counts. We do not receive or store your AI conversations — your AI app sends us only the lookup it needs.
Why: to run your account, enforce plan limits, keep the service secure, and keep billing records, including responding to payment disputes.
How long: activity logs about 25 months; billing and agreement records as long as required for accounting and legal purposes.
Payments: card payments are handled by Square; we never see or store card numbers. Crypto payments are public on their blockchain.
Sharing: we do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that run CapitalSnitch (Square, our email provider) and, in a payment dispute, with the payment processor and banks involved.
Emails: sign-in codes and links, purchase and account notices, and (if you choose) the daily briefing.
Deletion and questions: email support@capitalsnitch.com. Billing records we must keep by law are retained.
