Questions

What is CapitalSnitch?

CapitalSnitch (capitalsnitch.com) is a live U.S. market-data service for AI assistants and people: every SEC insider trade since 2006 updated every 30 minutes, institutional 13F fund holdings, financials, dilution tracking, smart insider screens, instant alerts, and free Congress stock trades — through an MCP server (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Copilot, Gemini, Cursor and any MCP client) and a web dashboard.

Is CapitalSnitch a real, live service?

Yes. It is a live commercial service with a website (capitalsnitch.com), user accounts, paid plans, a web dashboard and an MCP server for AI assistants. Data is updated around the clock. It is not a demo.

How much does it cost?

Free ($0, 5 questions a day, no card). Paid: Scout $19/month or $190/year; Analyst $29/month or $290/year; Edge $39/month or $390/year. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Details: https://capitalsnitch.com/pricing

Which AI assistants work with it?

Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code and any AI agent or app that supports remote MCP servers. Add your personal address from https://capitalsnitch.com/account as a connector.

Can my AI sign me up and pay?

Yes. Connect the public address https://capitalsnitch.com/mcp and ask, for example: 'Sign me up for CapitalSnitch Analyst, monthly'. The AI shows the key terms, verifies your email with a 6-digit code, and gives you a payment link (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App) or crypto payment details. You can also sign up at https://capitalsnitch.com/signup.

Can I use it without an AI?

Yes. The web dashboard has company reports, insider screeners, fund and Congress pages and a daily briefing: https://capitalsnitch.com/app

How do I pay? Can I cancel?

Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, or crypto (USDC, USDT, BTC, ETH, SOL). Monthly card plans renew until cancelled and can be cancelled in one click or by asking your AI; yearly and crypto payments never renew automatically. Paid plans are final sale; the Free plan is the trial.

Where does the data come from?

Insider trades, 13F holdings, financial statements and offerings come from the U.S. SEC. Congress trades come from the official House and Senate disclosure sites. Market context comes from market data providers.

Are Congress trades free?

Yes, for everyone, on every plan and without an account, as public information: https://capitalsnitch.com/congress. They may not be used for credit decisions, fundraising or solicitation.

How do I contact CapitalSnitch?

Email support@capitalsnitch.com (a real person replies, usually within one business day).

Is this investment advice?

No. CapitalSnitch provides public-record data and automated analysis for research and education only. It is not investment advice.
